Alive in Hope Foundation and Bank of
New York Mellon
Networking Reception is a Success!

On Wednesday, October 1 the Alive
in Hope Foundation and the Bank of New York Mellon
(BONYM) partnered to host a Catholic School
Networking Event in the
exclusive 49th Floor Boardroom at the Bank’s central
location, One Wall Street. The evening began
with a welcome by Mr. Brian Ruane, Executive Vice
President of Financial Institutions at the BONYM,
and included an opening by Monsignor Bracken,
introduction by Craig Katinas, and an astute
Economic Overview by Mr. Richard Hoey, Chief
Economist of BONYM. Marion Boteju, Director of
Operations and Programs, delivered poignant closing
words about the Alive in Hope Foundation’s work in
the communities of Brooklyn and Queens.

The Alive in Hope Foundation would like to thank Mr.
Ruane and all at the BONYM for graciously hosting
the event. A special thanks to the Alive in Hope
Foundation Networking Committee, who worked to make
their first event a success. And of course, a
resounding thanks to all who joined us that
evening – new and old friends alike.

The next networking event is
scheduled for Spring 2009. Details are forthcoming.
