This Christmas, 65 Catholic Elementary Schools in Brooklyn & Queens participated in the Alive in Hope Foundation’s School “Christmas Wish List”. All schools were invited to share with Alive in Hope the items that would make a significant difference in the educational experience of their students. The wishes were rich and diverse as these schools who asked Santa for new books, microscopes, sports equipment, SMART boards, a special breakfast with Santa… even a new roof for Santa to land on.
We shared this list you, our generous Santa’s and you became very busy! Thanks to your wonderful spirit of giving, 338 wishes were granted and $32,375 received in donations. It's not too late to still be a Santa to a school; the "Christmas Wish List" will remain active until January 19th. On behalf of all the schools whom benefit from this wonderful showing of generosity, we thank all of you for the gifts you provided throught his effort, and the many vatious effort sthat you support benefiting the people served by the Diocese of Brooklyn.
